As a key point of contact for business customers, you’ll be responsible for delivering high quality, telephone-based resolution support for all kinds of complex solutions, through a combination of troubleshooting, research and environment replication. You’ll actively support each customer from the beginning to the end of the solution process, keeping them informed every step of the way.

Carrying out deployments and remote installations of Dell Servers, Storage and Networking products, your varied duties will include configuration; backup and restore; supported operating systems; email, web server and database problems, and troubleshooting errors.

Naturally, you’ll need a degree in either Computer Science or Business (with a Management Information Systems specialisation). The ability to communicate in a second European language will be an advantage, but is not essential. You’ll certainly need advanced knowledge of at least two of the following: W2K3; W2K8; RedHat Enterprise Linux or SuSE Linux Enterprise Server; Vmware; Citrix XENserver; Active Directory; MS Exchange; SQL; IIS; Clustering. We’ll also expect you to have relevant Industry Certifications, including any of these: MCITP; MCSE; MCSA; MCSE+I; CNE; CCNA; CCNP; RHCE; RHCA; Solaris SCSA; VCP; VCI; CommVault Administrator/Support/Engineer.
