Our three-year European HR Graduate Programme will give you a broad perspective on HR, as well as in-depth experiences of specialist areas. With roles that give you genuine accountability, it’s designed to challenge and stretch you from Day 1.

The rotational structure gives you a complete understanding of change management, partnering the business, learning and development and the ‘employee lifecycle’. You’ll also learn all about how Diageo hires, inducts, moves and manages people within the organisation and the impact on our employees and line managers. These aren’t just graduate exercises but real roles that will let you learn through experience.

The programme offers both structured training (both centrally coordinated workshops and locally delivered training) and ‘on the job’ development. The programme is truly European and we offer opportunities to rotate to different markets, so a second language is advantageous.


In addition to the drive, energy and passion to rise to the daily challenges you’ll be faced with, you’ll need:

  • 300 UCAS points or equivalent
  • A 2.1 degree or equivalent
  • To be globally mobile
  • Fluency in English and the language of the market you are applying to
  • A full, valid driving licence (Sales & Marketing ONLY).
Applying is a simple three-step process:

 Step One

Complete an application form and email your CV to us through our website. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to take online numerical and verbal tests. If you’re successful...

 Step Two

...you’ll be invited to a telephone interview, which will be based on the Diageo capabilities and last approximately 45 minutes. If you’re successful...

 Step Three

...you’ll be invited to take part in a half-day assessment centre. This will involve a group exercise, an interview, a presentation and a role-play exercise.
